Misconceptions about Sarso Biznet

And the whole industry as well.

Think about the companies you would want to get associated with for the rest of your lives?
Facebook, Google, KPMG, Microsoft, Apple, etc, right? Why?

Because only the best (skills + behavior) of the people get selected to work for them which creates a good working environment to work in and also builds an excellent reputation of the company along with many other benefits.
What I am trying to tell is that there is no good company or bad company, it is  the people who work for the company or lead/represent it that makes it good or bad.

But in case of Direct Selling/ Network Marketing, since there is no advertisements done by the company; the only way a person will get to know about it is through it’s distributors and in SARSO, there is no such selection criteria for him and the distributors are allowed to conduct this business in their own way by using the training provided by the company and leaders.
Now, if the distributor or leader is ethical, he will represent the right image of the company but if he lack those values, it creates a bad reputation.

Now, let me cover the point as to why even some leaders work unethically.
When Direct Selling/ Network Marketing started, it proved to be a great method of marketing where the products were recommended by the users to their network on which they were being paid commissions and if the network again recommends it, the first user and the network both get commissioned and it was a multi level commission-able marketing model.
But there were few people who were greedy and unethical who saw it as a money making system and opened companies in which there were no real products involved and if there were, they were not worthy of the money that was charged for them. They represented it as a business of multiplication where all they had to do was bring people to get associated and ask them to bring more people. The system was only business oriented where no real products were involved. It is also called money circulation scheme which is illegal all around the world but was able to function because it was disguised as Network Marketing.

Unfortunately, these companies were able to make a huge business and this led few of the people of even legal companies to adopt the same policies out of greed and motivation to earn big amounts of money.  But ultimately, illegal companies had to shut down one day and all those people who were associated with the industry felt cheated. This created the bad image of the whole Network Marketing industry.

Even today, illegal companies are running and people are being cheated because they are not aware about the difference between legal and illegal companies.
But Fortunately, Govt. of India has  recently released the guidelines with the help of FICCI, KPMG, IDSA and FDSA which clearly differentiates the legal companies from the illegal ones.

But still there are leaders from good companies who are following the unethical practices against which no actions are being taken. People need to know that there are illegal companies and legal companies & unethical distributors and ethical distributors. People has to look for ethical distributors within a legal company.

You will be glad to know that Sarso Biznet is a legal company certified by Govt. of India and is also a member of Federation of Direct Selling Association of India(FDSA) and has recently gone through a filtration process where most of the unethical distributors who could not adapt the change, got disassociated.

To help you find out the right people to get associated with, I am giving below some points to consider very strictly:

  • What do they give more importance to. Product or the Business Opportunity?
    • Product should come first.
  • Is the product, value for money?
    • Check whether the product is marketable even without the business opportunity.
  • Whether you are being given a demonstration of products or not?
    • It should be given, at-least one product should be shown to you before you make any purchase.
  • See if the distributors are willingly using the products by themselves.
    • This shows about their trust in product and speaks a lot about it’s quality.
  • While showing the business opportunity, are you being told only to recruit other people or there is a balance in making customers and distributors.
    • Building a customer base is equally important.
